I find out today that Lauryn Hill and James Brown (yes, that James Brown) are playing at the LBBW Jazz Open in July, here in Stuttgart.
Ticket prices: between 40 and 50 Euros per concert.
Lauryn plays at 20:00 on Wednesday 13 July; James at 20:00 on Thursday the 14th.
The question remains... do I scrape up the 50 Euros to go, and which one do I go see?

Go see both of them.
unfortunately, I only have enough money to see one... if I have enough for that. Hence the question in the first place. If I could manage 100 Euros for concert tickets, I would go to both. However, under the circumstances, I actually have to make a decision.
