changes in purpose

I'm finally bowing to the fact that a weblog is not my online journal.

I have become enamored of LiveJournal's features (like private or friends-only posts), and so the blog here has been neglected lately.

But since I've kept this up for more than four years now, I can't bring myself to kill it.

So, a change of purpose is in order.

This is now officially a weblog, as originally intended: a log of cool stuff, news, etc, that I find while browsing around.

Enjoy the changes. Maybe I'll actually keep up with the news now.

This of course means that there will be a redesign. Again.
